Questions every job candidate must ask during a job interview

(pictured, Rich Farina, CEO of www.SellYourSmarts.com)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPHhDnk_0XA

This well -scripted video that puts forth several important job interview questions narrated by Rich Alexander from the website Sell Your Smarts. I discovered this on YouTube and thought, even though this is a Philly-sports-related website, in economic times like these, a opportunity to invest a few minutes of your time to upgrading your job interview skills would be worthwhile. Rich points out 5 questions every job candidate should ask a job interviewer.

Question topics that the job candidate should be asked to the interviewer:

1. What is the position responsibility? Important know what are the major responsibilities? Do your qualifications match the job? What is the career path of the person in this position?

2. Will I have the resources to accomplish the task?

3. What is the level of authority and does the authority exists for you to act on your responsibility? It's important to find out about your level of authority from your direct staff to your bosses, down to your subordinates.

5. What are the performance measurements? How are you graded?

6. Does company provide training, workshops, tuition reimbursement of any sort?

7. What is the company culture, is it formal or informal? This gives you a level of what the approachability factor is in your company.

MICHAEL VICK SIGNS WITH PHILADELPHIA EAGLES!

(pictured left, Michael Vick and Donovan McNabb at Vicks first week of practice with the Eagles)

Shrewd business deal, or, misplaced priorities?

We all stood and watched and listened to the Eagles pre-season game last week against the N.E. Patriots as they announced that the Eagles organization had signed convicted dog killer (actually the conviction was for tax evasion) ex-Atlanta Falcon QB Michael Vick. Emotions ran from shocking surprise to denial to, at least for a few, a solid business investment and an experienced palyer that may help the Ealges chances of getting back to the SuperBowl.

Let's hear your take - we've had a week to digest it. We've had a weak for our stomachs to settle. It could turn out to be the deal of century for the SuperBowl-starved fans of the Philadelphia Eagles, or, the worst PR move since Dennis Miller on Monday Night Football.

Some Eagle fans love the move, call it a "no-brainer". Others are distruaght over the move, calling it a "no-brainer". Whatever your position, drop us a comment - we've love to hear it.

This is a story that will never go away, it may subside a bit, but bet you bottom dollar, as long A Vick own an address in Philadelphia, he will be the talk of the town. Hopefully he won't get kicked out of town.

Is this about second chances or misguided intentions? Only Vick holds the key to that. Remember the hit "Flying" Brian Dawkins put on Vick during our NFC Champsionship game 4 years ago? We reveled as Vick's body crumbled into a heaping mass. Well since then (and 23 months in federal prison) he has dusted himself off, make contritions for his crimes, and asked the league to reinstate him and allow him to do what's always his 1st love.

Football.

So let's play football.

And let the chips fall where they may.

What say you Philly fans?

Looking at one the top trade in the NHL - one of the toughest players in the league is now under our roof, former Ottawa Senators goalie Ray Emery (right in photo) is the newest Philadelphia Flyer. Welcome Ray. Maybe you caught Ray, Flyers center Jeff Carter (left in photo), and a few other Flyers at the Public House a few weeks back.

Those! Amazing! Phillies!

Just a note to the rest of the teams in the MLB - Philadelphia Phillies on a run that can't be stopped - look for a 2nd appearance in the World Series! Their hitting is....amazing. Their defense is......amazing. Raul is.......amazing. We think Kanye W. says it best in his vid.
